Most people will agree that beer is a very good thing with their own personal reasons either as a business or just for the fun of it. But finding a top notch Brewery company to patronize and partner with is not something to decide alone. Rhode Island has several breweries and we have put together a list of the 10 breweries worth a visit in Rhode Island this Fall 2016, so you can narrow down and choose. Most breweries mentioned in this article have surely earned it by maintaining a steady flow of high ratings and reviews by customers and we do believe they’re worth visiting, should you find yourself at Rhode Island.

1) Grey Sail Brewery

Grey Sail had been a thought for over 15 years, and just a year later after a move to Rhode Island, the brewery’s building got purchased, renovation got completed, all equipments installed and Grey Sail starts business. So far, customers have been very pleased with their atmosphere and reviews about the beer is awesome.

2) Bucket Brewery

What started as an upcoming wedding plan grew with each month to become a household name when it comes to breweries in Rhode Island. The whole idea started out with three friends and later joined by other two to become “BUCKET”. They acquired and opened a small Brewery which the first keg of beer went on tap in November 2012 and within a couple of months the demand was huge which made them relocated to a much larger space and started a much larger production. The beer has been known to be very well received by Rhode Island customers and the brewery continues to grow! Bucket now holds tours and tastings every Saturday, as well as the Friday Night Sound Check music, art series, and other events.

3) Proclamation Ale Company

This Brewery’s beer is a unique snowflake, a complete original that was born out of creative volition. They claim its one of a kind and there is nothing like it, because it is made out of a sugary tea from barley, a ton of sexy nouveau, and fermented with yeast . My advice is; enjoy their beer because you will never drink another one like it again!!

The beers, ales, porters and stouts available at the Brewhouse are brewed in the premises which ensures a high quality product that is always satisfying and never flat. The Brewmaster at trinity takes great pride in providing customers with the freshest beer in the city.

5) Newport Storm Brewery

Started with four guys from same college. These four spent their years at Colby studying the science that would help them understand how to make beer while also doing the “sampling” that would make them love beer. In April 1999 they moved into their 2500 square feet in two garage bays in the Middletown tradesman center. Concrete was cut, used equipment was found, and on July 2nd 1999 the brewery’s first beer, Hurricane Amber Ale, was released. Since then, the brewery has continued to slowly build itself and its reputation. Thousands of people have visited the brewery and many more have had the opportunity to try their unique beer throughout RI and PA. Through it all, their focus still continues on making quality and unique local beers for fans and customers.

Hard to believe you left out Tilted Barn. Should have been in the top 3! Better yet, expand your list to include them all. RI is fortunate to have lots of great choices.

Thank you Gary, highlighting only a handful of Breweries can sometimes be a difficult task, especially when there are so many good ones. You bring up a good point and you could very see an article highlighted all of RI’s breweries in the near future. Thank you for reading, we hope to bring more Breweries news regularly and please feel free to let us know what you would like to see written about in the world of Craft Beer.
