Even though Delaware is fairly small state, dont let that fool you into thinking that they’re not familiar with fine craft brewing. Throughout this awesome little coastal state, lies some of the world’s best craft beer. While we’re familiar with such breweries as Dogfish and Iron Hill, there’s also some really unique Microbreweries and Brewpubs that can also be found around the state. So what I’ve done is, put together a list of 14 of Delaware’s highest rated & reviewed breweries who are also Credited with National Brewers Association. You’ll find a little info on each brewery below along with Ratings & Reviews that current as of July 21, 2016. If you’ve visited any of these breweries, leave a comment below. And dont forget to Like and Share.

1. Blue Earl Brewing Company

Blue Earl Brewing Company DE Review

For many years Blue Earl tweaked his recipes and shared his brews with family and friends. Winning awards and praise among his friends and the home brewing community, his passion for brewing became an obsession, and that obsession turned into the desire to bring these wonderful libations to the public. It wasn’t easy getting started, but one by one the barriers have been brought down and we are now very proud to offer you Blue Earl Beer. Hoppy American Ales, Belgian Specialties, German Ales & Lagers, and an ever changing variety of seasonal offerings.

3. Dogfish Head Beer

Dogfish Head Beer DE Review

Dogfish Head Brewery is a microbrewery based in Milton, Delaware. Dogfish first opened as a brewpub in downtown Rehoboth Beach, DE in June of 1995, then expanded to the Milton location in 2002. The original Rehoboth Beach location has expanded to add a micro-distillery and is still open for lunch and dinner year round – come visit either location! As a brewery, we brew off-centered ales for off-centered people. Our beers push the envelope of what beer is expected to be, often using non-standard ingredients, such as raisins, chicory, maple syrup, vanilla and grapes. We’re also known for brewing beers with lots of hops. A handful of our beers are also aged in huge wooden tanks.

7. Fordham and Dominion Brewing

Fordham and Dominion Brewing DE Review

The small brewpub quickly became a production brewery that was named one of the Top 50 breweries in the U.S. The brewery cultivated a community, in which many discovered the joy and wonder of craft beer, inspiring many of the company’s brewers to start successful breweries of their own. We soon found ourselves working around the clock to provide our potent potables and gourmet soda up and down the East Coast.

See Craig, this is a list of breweries that are credited by the Brewers Association. We could not find Bellefonte registered with the NBA. We’ll make a list with all non-registered breweries in the coming weeks. In the meantime, why dont register with http://www.brewersassociation.org.
